Reports

The Reports module allows you to create, schedule, and manage structured reports based on audit log data collected by LT Auditor MP. Reports differ from views in that they produce static, structured snapshots of audit data that can be exported, emailed, and retained as compliance documentation. Reports can be generated on demand or scheduled for automatic delivery.

    • Evidence — links to supporting audit logs

Best practices:

  • Use clear descriptive report names and descriptions especially for shared reports so other users understand the purpose without opening the configuration
  • Test new reports with a small date range before scheduling them for regular delivery
  • Use grouping and aggregation to produce summary reports for large datasets rather than full detail exports
  • Stagger scheduled report delivery times to avoid generating many reports simultaneously
  • Use report templates for recurring report types to save setup time and ensure consistency
  • Review and clean up obsolete reports periodically to keep the reports list manageable
  • Retain compliance reports according to your organization’s regulatory retention requirements

[Your administrator should set up a standard library of reports for common monitoring and compliance scenarios and share them with the relevant team members so everyone is working from the same baseline.]
